Obituary

Mrs. Janie Lee Hatton, Indianapolis, passed away on the evening of Friday, August 7, 2020 at Franciscan Health-Indianapolis. She was 66. Janie was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Helen (Roberts) Cherry.

Janie attended Howe High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1972. Janie was a homemaker who deeply loved her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching football and was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts. She also enjoyed traveling and going shopping.

Janie is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Randy) Barnhart; her grandson, Austin Barnhart; a step-granddaughter, Haleigh ( Adam) Gamberg; her siblings, Tina Carter, Jim Cherry, Glen Cherry, and Jeff (Mandy) Cherry as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, James Allen Hatton on February 7, 2014.

Private graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
