Jeffrey Earl Heffley Sr., Greenwood, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. He was 61 years old. Jeff was born in London, KY, to his parents, Jack and Bertha Mae Heffley Sr. He graduated from Perry Meridian High School, class of 1982. As a young man, Jeff enjoyed singing bass in a musical quartet. Jeff married his wife, Tammi (Ferguson) Heffley, on December 7, 2007, and they shared 19 years of marriage together. Jeff answered the call of this nation by enlisting into the United States Army and, after his period of faithful service, was honorably discharged.
Jeff worked as a heavy equipment operator for over forty years. Jeff enjoyed spending time outdoors going fishing, boating, and camping. Jeff was a great pool player and enjoyed sharing the game with his beloved friends and family. He loved his family deeply and looked forward to every opportunity that he was able to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Jeff will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, selfless nature, and hardworking spirit. His kindness, generosity, and big heart will be forever cherished and dearly missed by those he leaves behind.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Tammi Heffley; his children, Jeffrey (Bri) Heffley, Hillary White, and Vinnie (Kerenza) White; his 5 grandchildren (and one on the way); his siblings, John (Janie) Heffley, Jerry Heffley, James (Andi) Heffley, Jessie (Carma) Heffley, JoAnne Kemp, Jeanne (Robert) Jones, Janyice Hooper; his multitude of nieces and nephews.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Bertha; his grandson, Kane Shonkwiler; his siblings, Erlene Clift, Joyice Samuels, and Jack Heffley Jr.
