Jeffrey Alan Whittington, 49, passed away September 17, 2015 at his Greenwood residence. A native of Franklin, Indiana, Jeffrey was born July 13, 1966.

Jeff was a scheduler with Indianapolis Power and Light Company in Indianapolis since 1987. He was a member of Greenwood Church of Christ. Jeff was a weightlifter, enjoyed performing do-it-yourself projects around his home and family was his life - whether it be a party or on vacations.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Stacey M. (Layne) Whittington of Greenwood, whom he married on July 23, 1988; daughters, Kaitlyn S. (Joel) Shouse of Fishers and Madelyn R. Whittington of Greenwood; mother and step-father, Sherry A. and John Myers of Bloomington; sisters, Julie A. (Brad) Bowling of Greenwood and Jeannie A. Tuttle of Bloomington.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 21 at 12:00 noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to the time of services. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
