Mr. Jerry Adams,, Greenwood, passed away on the early morning of Friday, January 29, 2021. He was 71. Jerry was born June 23, 1949 in Manchester, Kentucky a son of the late Jennings and Parrit (Davidson) Adams.

A few after graduating high school, Jerry began working for Metro Bus (now IPTC) as a mechanic and remained there for 25 years retiring in 1996. He enjoyed bowling and going to the casino as well as cooking. He was an avid fan of University of Kentucky basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. He was a jokester and was the 'king of bad jokes'. He dearly loved his family and the time they spent together.

Jerry is survived by his children, Jerry Adams and Bambi Adams (friend Ronald Cochran); his grandchildren, Chase Adams, Gage Adams, Brett Adams and Aspen Nelson; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Salinas; the mother of his children, Nila Adams and his sisters, Brilla Adams and Patsy Thompson as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his sister, Mary Adams.

Private family services will be conducted with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Pastor Danny Thomas will officiate the services.

A Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
