Jerry Elton Moore Sr., 76, passed away at his home in Greenfield on November 18 th after
fighting with cancer.

Jerry was born on June 30 th, 1946, to George and Gertrude Moore in Indianapolis. After
high school, he started his career at E-W Mold and Tool, kickstarting a 30-year career as
a tool maker. In 1978, Jerry married Linda Petrey and they had five children April (Kenny), Cissy (Tim), Jerry Jr. (Angela), Josh (Elizabeth), and Linda (Brian).

He retired from Rugby at 65 years of age and spent his leisure time fishing, watching his
favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with family.

Jerry was predeceased by his father, George, mother, Gertrude, brothers Robert,
George, Jack, John, Donald, and David. He is survived by his wife, Linda, sister, Debra,
five children, 17 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A showing will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood on November 29th
at 12-2p.m. A funeral for family will begin directly following.
