Jessie M. Richeson, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away April 1, 2013. She was born February 7, 1924 in Indianapolis to Ila and Myrtle (Cruey) Richeson.
She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1942. Jessie worked as an office manager for Naval Avionics in Indianapolis. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran. She enjoyed volunteering for the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association. Jessie is survived by a daughter and son -in - law, Janet (Charles) Schmaltz; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 4, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood.
