Jim Newbrough, 65 of Greenwood died February 9, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born December 12, 1941 to the late James & Virginia Newbrough. Jim was a graduate of Central Tech Institute and DeVry Technical Institute and held a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. During his professional career in Consumer Electronics, Jim was the V.P of Marketing for 18 years at RCA, Senior V.P of Marketing of Philips Consumer Electronics for 13 years and owned a consulting firm with a world wide client base. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Brenda Hutchinson Newbrough, their three sons; Randy (Terri) Newbrough, Dan (Lisa) Newbrough and Tim (Jenny) Newbrough, three brothers Donald (Pat), Robert (Karla) and David (Barbara) Newbrough, a sister Jeannie (Junior) Davidson and grandchildren Rachel, Rebecca, Ella, Jake, Kelly and Samantha. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday Feb. 13 at 7PM in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Friends may call Tuesday from 4PM until time of service at the funeral home. Jim will be laid to rest in his hometown of Mexico, MO in Elmwood Cemetery.
