Jo A. Vorhees, 79, of Hawthorne, Florida, passed away November 1, 2013. The daughter of Ralph H. and Marie (Parker) Parker, Jo was born August 11, 1934 in Muncie, Indiana. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Kirk A. Vorhees of Hawthorne, Florida, Ralph Vorhees of Indianapolis and Ben Vorhees of Virginia; two daughters, Missy Bradley of Brown County, Indiana and Stacey Rea of Angiers, North Carolina; one sister, Julia Stacey of Boise, Idaho; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Vorhees.

No public visitation or funeral services are scheduled. Private burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Funeral arrangements entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
