Joan K. Waltman, age 78, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010. She was born June 16, 1932 in Indianapolis to Thomas and Della (Leffingwell) Kinnevey. Joan was an apartment manager for Kirkpatrick Management. She loved to crochet and play cards. She married William Waltman on September 8, 1958 and he preceded her in death in January 2000. Joan is survived by her sons, Gregory (Tracey) and Glenn Waltman; daughter Cindy (Michael) Dance; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund.
