Joann M. Bowman, 86, of Greenwood passed away September 24, 2016. She was born May 26, 1930 in Washington, IN to Joseph C. and Violet McClellan.

Joann was an accomplished artist and enjoyed bowling, needle crafts, gardening and baking.

Joann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Bowman and son, C. Neil Bowman.

She is survived by her son, Michael Bowman; daughter, Donna J. (John) Bland; brother, Joseph C. McClellan; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a special friend, Linda Herman, who helped take care of Joann.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30 from 4 pm - 8 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1 at 10 am, also in the mortuary. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
