Joanna Virginia Wheatcraft, 84, of Poland, IN, passed away January 20, 2015 in Bloomington, In. She was born July 18, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late Arthur and Elnora (Johns) Zimmerman.
She was a graduate of Emmerich Manuel High School, and was employed as a sales clerk with Central Hardware for seventeen years, retiring in 1993. Joanna loved her dogs, and was owner and operator of "Joanna''s Kennels". She also enjoyed bowling and sewing. She is survived by sons, Charles and Michael Wheatcraft;
daughters, Linda Sue Smith, and Nancy Ann Whitaker; brothers, Harley, Ernest, and John Wheatcraft; sisters, Erelin Harbin and LaDonna Scrogham; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Robert; a son Robert Wheatcraft, and a brother Arthur Zimmerman. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with visitation from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
