Joel M. Holden, 43 went be with Jesus, his Savior, on Sunday, December 5th, 2021.  Joel was born October 31, 1978 to Jack and Brenda Holden of Greenwood, IN.

Joel graduated from Greenwood High School and worked as a talented painter.  Joel was proudly raising his 12 year-old son, Matthew T. Holden and could be found coaching and viewing his little league baseball games.  Joel was a big fan of the Indianapolis Colts for many years.  He also was a very talented pianist and guitarist, had an amazing passion for music, and loved to lead worship in church.

Joel is survived by his son Matthew (Matthew's mother Barbara Overbeck), his mother Brenda, his father Jack, his older brother Jason (wife Melissa), his older brother Josh (wife Kathleen), nephews - Cole, Brice (wife Lexi), Dylan, Jase, Quinton, and Brendon, nieces - Abigail, Kylie, Scarlet, and Regan, and great nieces Lyla, Clover and Remi Kate.  He possessed a playful spirit and was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his niece Rose E. Holden, by his grandparents Eugene and Alice Lewis and Jerry and Janice Holden and his uncle Joe Holden.
