John A Baker
84, born in Indianapolis on September 21, 1927. He went to be with the lord on November 16, 2011 with family by his side. Survivors include his wife Margie "Sue" Baker, daughter Pam (Mike) Dove, son Jay (Allyson Brown) Baker, step-son Monte (Laura) Stultz, Jon (Ada) Stultz, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 1 brother, 6 sisters and several nieces and nephews, 1 brother, 2 sisters and his parents preceded him in death. John proudly served his Country during WWII in the Navy Seabees. He worked of his adult life at the Indianapolis Water Company, retiring in 1991. John was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Calling will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana on Saturday, November 19, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. and the Military funeral service on Saturday, November 19, at 2:30 p.m. Officiating will be Rev: Ted Cuttrell You may visit www.forestlawncemetery-fh.com to sign the online guest registry
