John H. Blanton 89 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. He was born to the late James and Maya Blanton.

John was a member of Northern Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing in Michigan and loved to walk.
 
John is survived by his two grandchildren Oliver Endris and Mystari Endris; son-in-law Patrick Endris and lots of nieces and nephews, He is proceeded in death by both parents; his wife Wanda Blanton; two children Michael Blanton and Shari Endris and his siblings.

Visitation will be Monday, April 27, 2026 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
