John Daniel Fulmer, 95, of Greenwood, passed away February 3, 2013. The son of Lester and Flora Jane (Plummer) Fulmer, John was born February 8, 1917 in Greenwood, Indiana.
John was a 1935 graduate of Center Grove High School and 1939 graduate of Purdue University. He was a chemical salesman with Farm Bureau Co-Op and also owned and operated Fulmer''s Orchard in Greenwood. John was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, Bargersville Masonic Lodge #679 and Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite. John enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening, bowling, shuffleboard and wintering in Florida.
Chris Franklin will conduct funeral services 10:00 a.m. February 9, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. February 8, 2013. Entombment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
John is survived by son, John N. Fulmer of Greenwood; daughter, Janet (Dennis) Norman of Greenwood; brothers, Jim Fulmer of Greenfield and Merrill Fulmer of Greenwood; grandchildren, Jay Fulmer of Greenwood, Jill (Doug) Miller of Greenwood, Duane Norman of Indianapolis and Daniel Norman of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy and Jessica Miller and Steven, Chris and David Norman. Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Vera and brother, Bayard.
