John W. French, 69, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in Greenwood, IN. John was born in Ellettsville, IN on July 7, 1939. John retired from Ford Motor as a production worker after 41 years of loyal service. He is survived by his wife Myla R. Vest French. One son, Kenneth Wayne French. One daughter, Pamela Sue French. Three grandchildren, Three great-grandchildren. One brother Alonzo French. One half-brother, Bob Canner. Two sisters, Martha Jennett, Janet Marshall. He is preceded by his parents, Wayne Wesley & Helen Leora Martin French. Two brothers, and 4 sisters. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday, Jan. 16, 2009. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial may be given to the American Cancer Society.
