John (Juan) Gamboa, 81 of Greenwood, passed away on April 3, 2020.  Born August 8, 1938.  John served in the Air Force from 1956-1963 where he gained specialty training in electronics and x-ray technology.  John retired from Indiana Bell/AT&T in 1992.

John married Ruth Follmer in 1960.  Survivors include wife Ruth and children Gary (Libby) Gamboa, Anthony Gamboa, and Valerie (Rick) Guldner; grandchildren Joshua Evans, Daniel Evans, Mitchell Gamboa, Simon Gamboa, Matthew Gamboa, Joseph Gamboa and Ryley Guldner; and 4 great grandchildren.  John loved his family and was always able to generate laughter.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Demaree Crossing Assisted Living and Manor Care Skilled Nursing Facility for the care and support provided to John and the family. The funeral will be a private graveside service on Monday April 6, 2020 entrusted to Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in Greenwood.
