John Harley Goger, age 74 of Indianapolis, died September 9th, 2009 at Methodist Hospital. John was born January 6, 1935 in Indianapolis to Henry Anthony and Amelia (Grannaman) Goger. On June 5, 1957 in Indianapolis, he married Barbara Morlock. John was a member of the United Auto Workers Union #1111 in Indianapolis. Survivors include his wife Barbara, 2 sons: John (Patty) Goger and Donald (Darla) Goger; 3 daughters: Diana (Dale) Gray, Debra (Robert) Rodriguez and Barbie (Darrell) Helton. John also is survived by three sisters: Caroline Hart, Bessie Lambert and Edna Leonard and also by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Services will be Monday, September 14, 2009 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
