John F. "Jack" Molt, Jr., age 78, of Mooresville, passed away Thursday, December 16 at his home. He was born January 1, 1932 in Chicago, IL to John F. and Florence (Bylow) Molt. He was the owner /operator of J&M Tree experts and had worked at Kraft Foods for 19 years. He was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church. Jack married the former Doris Butrum on December 16, 1989 and she survives along with his sons, John F. III (Angie) and Thomas (Karen) Molt; step sons Charles (Loretta), David (Christine) and Kevin (Michelle) Carmichael; nine grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be Wednesday, December 22 at Noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 10:00AM until service time. Memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude''s Children''s Research Hospital.
