John T. Kleinschmidt, age 92, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday April 23. John was born October 5, 1917 in Mt. Vernon, IN to John and Lottie (Webb) Kleinschmidt. He was a railroad worker most of his life, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. John was also a World War II Army veteran. He married Dorothy Duckett and she preceded him in death in 1990. He is survived by his daughter, Freda Redifer; one brother, Merle Kleinschmidt; 2 grandchildren, Roy (Joyce) Redifer, and Alena Reece; 2 great grandchildren, Emily and Sarah Reece, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday April 26 at 2:00PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from Noon until service time. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
