John Coach" Moran passed away on Oct. 4, 2011 of Greenwood formerly lifelong resident of Indianapolis. He was born in 1952.
John was the former husband & best friend of Lynn (Nee Petty) Moran. Father of Gabrielle "Fred" & Blake Moran., Son in law of Wanda Petty. Also survived by his brothers and sisters. John was self employed as a custom team apparel specialist and was well know for his custom team designs. He had been employed with Madden Furnature Co. in Indianapolis until its closing. John''s passion was coaching kids in the Center Grove Area in football, basketball, baseball & softball. He delighted in seeing improvement in the skills and the life achievements of the kids he coached . His greatest love was his children and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service Monday 11:00am at EMANUAL CHURCH 1640 W. Stones Crossing Rd. Greenwood. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm AND MONDAY FROM 10:00AM UNTIL THE TIME OF SERVICE AT EMANUAL CHURCH. John will be laid to rest Monday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
