John Joseph Stuck Sr., of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was 76.
John was welcomed into the world by his parents Emmett and Anna Stuck on May 13, 1946 and grew up with his nine siblings.
John married Mary Frances (Harrison) Stuck in 1966 and together they shared over fifty years of marriage.
John answered the call of this nation by enlisting into the United States Army during the Vietnam War in November of 1964, and after his period of faithful service was honorably discharged in October of 1969.
Upon his discharge, John started working at Citizens Gas and Coke Utility as a foreman and retired after 25 years of service.
John was a long time attendee and board member of Lifeway Assembly of God Church with his wife Mary. John loved to work on cars, especially his 1964 GTO, and every chance he had, he would go for drives to enjoy his vehicles. He loved fishing, softball and yard work as well as spending time with his family. John was a funny and sarcastic person who never met a stranger and made sure those around him knew how much he loved them.
