John V. Yingling, III, age 38, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013. He was born June 5, 1974 in Devens, MA to John V. Yingling, Jr. and Diane (Dalton) Howington, and was a son to his other mother, Debbie Yingling. John was a graduate of Southport High School and held a BS degree as a millwright from Carpenters Training Center and Millwright Local 1693 and he worked many years for Cardinal Contracting. John loved to ride his Harley and spend time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He married Christy Johnson on February 22, 2012 in Indianapolis and she survives along with his parents; in-laws, Steve and Diana Johnson; sons, Brad Yingling, Brittin and Chase Salmon and Alex Johnson; daughters Stacey Yingling and Cheyeanna Leslie; brother, Christopher Yingling; sister, Cindy Totten and husband John; three nephews and many many friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Weddleville Lutheran Cemetery in Medora, IN at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor''s choice.
