Johnathon K. Goffred, 22, of Greenwood, died unexpectantly in San Diego, CA. He was born on June 5, 1985 to Angie Martin Goffred in Virginia Beach, VA. Johnathon was a graduate of Center Grove High School in Greenwood and participated in several sports programs. He also assisted in Center Grove Little league baseball, football and enjoyed camping. Johnathon was a United States Marine on active duty, presently stationed in Camp Pendleton, San Diego, CA. Survivors include his mother, his paternal grandparents: Walter and MaryAnn Sparrow, his maternal grandfather: Bill Goffred, seven brothers: Dale, Shawn, Nick, Tom, Wes and Kragen Sparrow, Michael Paul, eight sisters: Tina Seril, Mellisa, Keria, Keisa, Quinci, Brianna, Shannon and Masada Sparrow, three nephews and one niece. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, one brother: Billy Goffred and one sister: Bansi Sparrow. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00AM on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at St. Timothy''s Episcopal Church, 2601 East Thompson Rd., Indianapolis with the Reverend Robert W. Myers, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with full Military Honors. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
