Joneica Hill (Cook), age 54, or as her friends and family knew her, Joni, passed away in her sleep on the morning of July 30, 2017 in Louisville, KY. Her indomitable spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of struggles. The legacy of Joni's playful spirit, watching her favorite shows, love of reading, and her perseverance will live on through them. Joni's children and family were the pride and joy of her life.
Family members living on in her memory are her loving husband, Tony Hill; daughters, Kayla (Matthew) Duerbeck, Danielle (Jason) Huntsman; parents, Diane (Mike) Gillespie and Jerry Lee Cook; brother, David (Deana) Weiss; grandson, Ethan Huntsman; precious dog, Daisy, and so many more family members and friends. There are no words to describe the amount of love this woman had for her family.

Visitation, in memory of Joni, will be held on Saturday, August 5, from 10am-12pm with a funeral service at 12 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
