Joseph "Gene" Edmond, 71 of Greenwood passed away Thursday, December 10. He was born in La Follette, TN to the late John and Leola Edmond. Joseph was a member of the Eagles # 4167. He retired after a 39 year career at Amtrak. Joseph's brother John Edmond Jr. precedes him in death. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Cora Edmond; two daughters, Beverly (Kevin) James, and Barbara Edmond; two brothers, Paul and James Edmond; a sister, Linda Sue Christ; two granddaughters, Brittany Conner and Lindsay Bowman; and one greatgrandson, Braden Conner. Family and Friends will gather on Monday, December14 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home with a service immediately following.
