Joseph C. Harlow, 89, of Whiteland passed away September 20, 2017. He was born January 30, 1928 in Nicholas County, West Virginia to Joseph C. and Nellie (Legg) Harlow.

Joseph worked as a welder for Bryant Corporation for many years, retiring in 1988 and he was also employed at United Methodist Home as a lawns keeper. Joseph proudly served his country in the Navy. He was a member of Northern Park Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was a devoted husband and father and was loved by many.

Joseph was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Harlow.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Ben) Pace; sister, Betty Bailes; grandchildren, Krista (Aaron) Stenzel, Levi (Candice) Pace, and Katie Pace; great grandchildren, Trinity and Rossi and his "adopted family" the Boswell''s.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26 at 10:00 am, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
