Joseph S. Polsgrove Sr., age 80, formerly of Indianapolis died March 30, 2012 at his residence. He was born Dec. 22, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late James Scott and Catherine (DeVries) Polsgrove. He was a 1950 graduate of Ben Davis High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He fought in the "Chosin Reservoir" battle, in Korea. He was a Tool and Die Maker in the automotive manufacturing industry for more than 40 years. He is survived by, his wife, Emilie Roberta Polsgrove, a son; Joseph S. Polsgrove Jr. (wife Dawn). Two Daughters; Teresa Haler (husband Charles) and Rebecca Switzer (husband Paul). four Grandchildren, and six Great Grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by; his parents, and a brother James Polsgrove. Funeral services will be Friday April 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday April 5, 2012 from 4 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to; TIDEWELL HOSPICE.
