Joseph J. Prokl
93 passed away August 18, 2012 at Hamilton Trace in Fishers.
He was born December 18, 1918 in Indianapolis to the late Anthony and Virginia Prokl.
He married Virginia Swaynie, she preceded him in death.
Joseph was a graduate of Manual High School, and is a veteran of the U.S. Army WW II. He worked as an accountant and retired from Jackson Oil Company in 1990. He was a member of Greenwood Christian Church.
He is survived by; A daughter Joan M. "JoDee" (Thomas) Grant. Grandchildren; Todd J. Karas, Shanna L. Wendt, Sherri L. Farley and Stacie L. Grant. Great Grandchildren Troy J. Fulmer, Evan T. Karas, Noah J. Karas, Kyle A. Farley, Sarah E. Farley, Haileigh L. McGivern, Cole T. Wendt, Savannah M. Grant, Alexandra R. Wendt, Michaela A. Grant and Courtney G. Wendt. Great Great Grandchildren Lawson A. Simmons and Haley E. Fulmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter Judith A. Karas, a grandson Troy A. Fulmer. Four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday August 25, 2012, 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Friends may call from 12:00 till time of service on Saturday.
