Joseph Erhard Wiser's Obituary
Joseph Erhard Wiser, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away January 23, 2016. The son of Erhard and Babette Eidelloth Wiser, he was born October 28, 1922 in Marienroth, Germany.
Joseph retired from P. R. Mallory as a design engineer, holding many patents, with 40 plus years of service. He was an accomplished pianist, starting lessons at age 7 and was the band leader of his own musical ensemble in Germany and the United States, enjoyed bird watching, gardening and photography.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Ingeborg Spiegel Wiser of Indianapolis; sons, Ronald F. (Pai-Ning) Wiser of Sonoma, CA, Peter R. (Nancy) Wiser of Greenwood, Mark S. J. (Susan) Wiser of Plainfield and Thomas J. (Cathy) Wiser of Greenwood; daughters, Ellen D. (Larry) Paris of Franklin and Marion (Donald) McKinney) of Greenwood; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Little Red Door Cancer Agency - 1801 North Meridian Street Indianapolis, IN 46202.
