Joseph Anthony Trapani
Joseph Anthony Trapani, 82, died Sunday, November 28th, 2010. He was a resident of Greenwood. He was born on May 3, 1928 in New York City. Survivors include his daughters Linda Trapani and Ruth Bashenow (husband Alex), three grandchildren, Alex, Lauren, and Nicholas Bashenow, two brother-in-laws Jerry Tepper (wife Barbara) and Abe Rosenberg, and three sister-in-laws Marlene Rosenberg, Dale Rosenberg, and Annette Petriello. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Sonia, his son Anthony, and his parents Anthony and Lilly Trapani. Joseph was a dedicated husband and father. He was an unselfish man who always put the needs of his wife and children before himself. He enjoyed working on his car and house, smoking his cigars, vacations, and the many dinners spent with his family and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 3rd between 6:00 - 8:00 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 Greenwood, IN 46143. A funeral will be on Saturday, December 4th at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union Street, Indianapolis, 46225, (One mile south of the Circle) Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers donations can be given to Second Helpings, 1121 Southeastern Ave Indianapolis, IN 46202.
