Joyce Marie Mink, 79, passed away July 16, 2018 at Our Hospice of Southern Indiana, Columbus, IN.

She was a member of the First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin, IN, and has been a Johnson County resident for 60 years. She enjoyed collecting pennies and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a nurse's aide at the old Johnson County Home. She loved watching the preacher and listening to gospel music with her husband, Robert C. Mink. The two have been married since October 13, 1956. She was born in Greenbriar, TN. She was loved and adored by the many grandchildren she has. She has lived a long and rewarding life. Joyce will be dearly missed by many.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Walling/Ellis; father, George Lee Talbert; children, Rickey Mink and Dora Meador; brothers, Billy Talbert, Bobby Talbert, and Joe Talbert; sister, Gara Farmer; half sister, Ruth Talbert Hurt and Bertha Marie Ehlers and a half brother, Paul Talbert.

She is survived by her children, Jerry and Johny Mink; brother, Jerry Talbert and sisters, Nell Rawls and Judy Long.

There will be no services per her request, she wants everyone to remember her as she was.

She will be buried in a crypt on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 9:00 am in ForestLawnMemoryGardens in Greenwood, IN.
