Mrs. Juanita I. Robson, Greenwood, passed away on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was 89. Juanita, better known as 'Pete', was born July 5, 1931 in Muncie, Indiana a daughter of the late John F. and Osha I. (Evans) Dean.
Pete was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and served as an administrative assistant for many years with the architectural firm of Kooler, Schubert and Olds in Indianapolis. She had also been employed with Curtis Publishing, Paychex as well as the Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Pete was an outstanding bowler and spent some of her leisure time sewing. She also enjoyed dancing and along with her husband was a member of the Continental Dance Club. Pete dearly loved her family of which she was the matriarch. She will be missed. She was a member of Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband Roby Robson; her children, Nancy (Jerry) Meier, Linda (Randy) Chilcote, Bob Blyth, Joe Robson and Barbara Snow; her grandchildren, Brian Blyth, Logan Blyth, Lee Ann Geralds, Dawn Fortune, Alison Roman, Thomas Roman, Whitney Geiger, Courtney Corley, Brittany Snow, Josh Snow and Jessica Snow; 14 great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren as well as her niece, Karen Sutherland.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her grandchildren, Scott Chilcote and Michael Robson; her sister, Myrtle Sutherland and a nephew, Mike Sutherland.
A private memorial service will be conducted at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
Family and friends will gather for a picnic to celebrate what would have been Pete's 90th birthday July 10, 2021 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Westside Park, 820 W. Main St., Greenwood.
