Judith Ann
Anderson
Nov 11, 1934 — Mar 22, 2019
Judith Ann Anderson (Wagner) passed away peacefully in the presence of her family March 22, 2019 at the age of 84.
She was born November 11, 1934 to Mable and Louis Wagner. Judy is an alum of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis. She retired from Indiana Bell.
Judy had a big heart and anyone that knew her knew she never had a negative word to say about anything. She had a passion for giving back to the community. One of her favorite pass times, accompanied by her grandchildren, was cleaning up her neighborhood and surrounding areas from trash and debris. Judy was an active member in her church, St. John's United Church of Christ. She led many bible studies there and even at her home with her son-in-laws. Having thirteen grandchildren, Judy made it her duty to teach them proper English and manners every time they visited. Judy's house became known as "Manners School" by her grandchildren. She often joked about being a retired English teacher from time to time. Judy was a regular patron at Baskin Robin's and loved to share that with her grandchildren, especially on their birthdays. A few of her favorite pass times were listening to soft music and reading her devotionals or one of her many magazines or books. Judy also kept a journal where she recorded many prayers for her children and grandchildren. Judy never let a day go by where she was not saying a prayer for one of her loved ones.
Judy is preceded by her parents, Mable and Louis, and her siblings Lucile, Louis, Jim, Mary Jean and John.
Judy is survived by her four children Rick, Diane, Sandy and Suzy; two step-children David and Pattie; thirteen grandchildren Josh, Nick, Nicki, Andy, Johnny, Jaryd, Marie, Brandi, Breanna, Cory, Paul, Alexis and Mark; two step-grandchildren Joe and Lisa; and eighteen great grandchildren Dorothy, Trevor, Hugo, Madison, Minnie, Dylan, Patrick, Parker, Bonnie, Bridget, Alice, Francis, Bennet, Agnes, Olivia, baby Verhiley, baby McDonald and baby Johnson.
Visitation will be held Friday March 29, 2019 from 10:00 AM-12:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, IN. Funeral Services will held at 12:30 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
