Judith Lynne Burnette, age 71 of New Whiteland, died at 12:35 pm on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born August 4, 1937 in Connersville, Indiana to James and Marjorie "Hull" Fish. On October 19, 1957 she married Arvine Jackson Burnette. Judith was a member of Christ's Church in Franklin. Also Judith was active in the Red Hat Society, the Liver Transplant Support Group and the Widow''s Support Group. She was retired from G & H Wire in Greenwood. She is survived by three children: Sons, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Burnette and Jay (Janet) Burnette; Daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Gale. Also, one brother, Jim (Sally) Fish; Nine grandchildren, Kyle, Kristen, Kameron, Kirk, Jenna, Jillian, Derek, Megan and Cassie. Judith was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be Monday, February 9th from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, Indiana 46143. Services will be Tuesday, February 10th at 10:00 am at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Kendall Faull. Burial will take place following the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
