Judith "Judy" C. Day, 80 of Indianapolis passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was born to the late Clifford and Elnora Shepherd.

Judy was a God-fearing woman who wholeheartedly believed that God has your life in good hands. She found strength in God's word and believed there was stability in Him.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her Bible, coloring, and collecting angels.  She was a member of Southview Wesleyan Church.  She retired from Franklin Township Schools.

Judy is survived by her two children Sheryl (Ernest) Waterman and Ronald Ellis Sr; five grandchildren Christina Newsom, Ernest (DJ) Waterman Jr, Nicole Harris, Jason Ellis, and William Medcalf; eleven great grandchildren Gavin Newsom, Brayden Newsom, Brantley Newsom, Grayson Newsom, Caitlan Bray, Noah Hughes, Mason Harris, Matthew Harris, Rion Arend, Elijah Harris, Jacob Harris; three great great grandchild Arabella Harris, Gracelynn Harris, and Braxton Bray; and a sister Janice Davies. She is preceded in death by her father Clifford Shepherd; mother Elnora Shepherd; siblings James Shepherd, George Shepherd, Phyllis Grismore, and Margie Windlowsky; two grandchildren Elizabeth Medcalf and Ronald Ellis Jr.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 10:30 AM - Noon, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.  The service will begin at Noon following visitation. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
