Judy Morriston of Greenwood, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the age of 80 from complications of Alzheimer's.

She was born to the late Garnet and Irene Gaines of rural Shelby County.

Judy dedicated her professional career to broadcasting , excelling in advertising sales at WFMS and WRTV6 before retiring in 2009.

She is survived by her husband Ben Morriston; daughter Dana (David) Canary and bonus son Marc(Dawn) Morriston; sister Joan(John) Zimmerman; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren .

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
