Judy A. McKnight, 78 of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. She was born to the late Earl and Eileen (Benefield)  Shelton.

Judy loved flowers and had a beautiful garden.  She enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, camping, fishing and swimming. Judy knew no stranger, she was very friendly and outgoing.

Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years Bruce McKnight; four children David (Michelle) McKnight, Randall Scott (Donna) McKnight, Rodney (Beverly) McKnight and Christina Smock; 5 grandchildren  Chelsey Burton, Stephen Smock, David Lee McKnight, Brandon McKnight and Jonathan (Drew)  McKnight and four siblings Beth Windhorst, Charles Shelton, Morris Shelton and Gary Shelton. She is preceded in death by both parents; three brothers John Shelton, Larry Shelton and Bill Shelton and a grandson Daniel McKnight.

Private graveside service for the family will be Friday, May 2, 2025 at Noon at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. A Celebration of life will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Noon at Berean Baptist Church  1191 W County Line Road  Greenwood  IN  46142
