Julie Ann Brown, age 50, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 with her loving family at her side. She was born July 2, 1965 in Indianapolis to Kenneth D. and Rebecca S. (Bruning) Lewis- Mills. Although Julie encountered many health issues in her life, she remained upbeat and sweet and she will be terribly missed by all who know and love her. She loved to knit and crochet but she loved her family above all.

Julie is survived by her mother, Rebecca Mills of Indianapolis; fianc, Gary Brown of Indianapolis; brother, Jerry D. Lewis of Rochester, IN; sisters, Rebecca S. Whitis of Indianapolis and Tracey A. (husband Kenneth) Hendrix of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; brother-in-law, Mark Whitis; grandfather, Robert Bruning.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 7735 Surrey Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46227. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association. Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
