Julie (Simpson) Muse, age 67, passed away on July 3, 2023. Julie was born in Beech Grove, Indiana to her parents Junior and Gloria June Simpson. She graduated from Southport high school in 1974. Don and Julie married in 1980 and had two sons together. Julie worked at N.K. Hurst for 40 years, retiring in 2017. Julie loved her family and enjoyed the many memories they created just being together. She will be deeply missed. Julie is survived by her husband, Don Muse, of 43 years; sons Tom (Andrea) Muse and Brian (Ashley) Muse; sister Sally Muse and brother-in-law Leroy Muse; nephews Michael (Ellie) Carnes and Shawn (Erin) Carnes, and her grandsons Spencer, Jude, August, Henry, and one on the way. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Julie is proceeded in death by her parents Junior and Gloria June Simpson.

Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Julie will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
