Junior C. Shelton, 83, of Indianapolis passed away July 29, 2017. He was born May 21, 1934 in Adolphus, KY to Jessie and Flora B. Shelton.

Junior attended the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise Shelton; parents, Jessie and Flora Shelton; daughter, Sandra Englehart; son in law, Timothy Englehart and great grandson, Clayton Ingram.

Junior is survived by his son, Stephen (Charlotte) Shelton; daughter, Sheila (James) Plummer; grandchildren, Thomas Rodriguez, Stacey Willis, Lisa Gulling, Robert Rodriguez, Laura Long, Jim Plummer, Mike Plummer, Sondra Chapman, Steven Shelton, Chris Shelton, Suzette Ingram and Caitlyn Shelton; 23 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3 from 5 pm - 6 pm with a funeral service at 6 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
