Karilyn Kay Ritchie, 70, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011. She was born on June 28, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late James Bernard and Laura Eva (Mahlke) Ritchie. Karilyn was a 1959 graduate of Washington High School.
Karilyn will be forever remembered as a tremendously loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was a completely unselfish and kind-hearted woman who enjoyed nature, learning new things, and loved any opportunity to use her gift of creativity. Karilyn worked for Allison Transmission for 20 years, before retiring in 1983.
Karilyn is survived by her loving daughters: Jacqueline Bagosy and Jill Wagner (Todd); sister Jacki Bowling; 3 grandchildren: Jack, Annie, and Claire; and nephew Scott Bowling.
Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family during their loss. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, with Father Steve Banet officiating.
