Katelin Brooke Creel, 6, of Indianpolis died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Riley Childrens Hospital. Katelin was born in Indianapolis on September 7, 2002 to James L. Creel II and Ketsia L. Phillips Creel. Katelin was a first grader at Thompson Elementary. Katelin enjoyed playing with her dolls, reading, singing and dancing. Surviving with her parents are three brothers: Kevin, Jacob, and Nathan Creel. One step-brother: Christopher Creel. One step-sister: Nikki Schmidt. Maternal grandmother: Illa Phillips. Maternal grandfather: Ed Williams. Paternal grandmother: Brenda Creel. Also serveral aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, May 8 from 4-8 PM. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 Greenwood, IN 46143. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials may be given to Riley Childrens Hospital.
