Katharine Annette Lashbrook, 104, of Indianapolis, passed away May 12, 2012. The daughter of Samuel Pennington and Harriet Majors Ryan, Katharine was born May 21, 1907 in French Lick, Indiana.
Katharine was a retired bookkeeper for Ideal Engineering and later from Indianapolis Paper Container.
Katharine is survived by her daughter, Trudy M. (Mel) Massey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram E. Lashbrook; brothers, Winston, William and Samuel Ryan; sisters, Mary Chambers, Harriet Plzak, Jane Gruber and Rose Ballard.
Services 12 noon May 19, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
