Kathryn Jo Rynard, Chase, Kretchek passed away June 13, 2025 at her home in Indianapolis, Indiana with her close family at her side.  Kathy Jo (as she was known to her family) was dearly loved by her husband, Kerry and the rest of her family and friends.  She was born to Robert Rynard, Sr. and Myrtle May Shockley Rynard on August 3, 1955, in Beech Grove, Indiana.  She grew up in Johnson County and attended and graduated from Center Grove High School.  She worked for her dad at Package Delivery on a Kodak route, Grandview Nursing Home in Martinsville, IN, On Stage Live Entertainment, Greenwood, IN and Prime Source of Indianapolis, IN.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirlene Allen, son; Justin Kretchek; brother, Charles (Tony) Rynard of San Diego, CA.;granddaughter, and Elena Victoria (Evie) Chase.  She is survived by, husband, Kerry Kretchek; daughter, Jennifer (Chase) Wright, son, Andrew (Courtney) Kretchek; grandson Elijah "E.J."; dad and step mom Robert (Dorothy) Rynard, Sr; sister, Patricia, aka Patti, (John) Kukelhaun, brother, Robert Rynard, Jr., step sister, Roslyn Robertson and step brother, Rick Ratliff.

Kathy has a service dog Kirby, she trained him and he has been by her side for the past eight years.

Services will be held on August 2, 2025 at Forest Lawn Mortuary, 1977 S. State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46163 with visitation at 11:00am until service at 12:00 noon.
