Kelly Lynn Wallace, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away on February 27, 2022. Kelly was born in Franklin, IN on September 16, 1962 to Jack and Shirley Wallace of Fountaintown, IN. She was a 1981 graduate of Greenwood Community High School.
Kelly completed cosmetology school and had been a hairdresser since 1986. She worked at Great Clips, where her coworkers became her second family. She attended Cornerstone Church in St. Paul, Indiana and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Union Village Chapter 584. To know Kelly was to love her – she was eternally vibrant and optimistic. Kelly had many lifelong friends and enjoyed live music, dancing, photography, and animals. Kelly's joy in life was ensuring that her grandchildren were happy and loved.
Kelly is survived by her Father, Jack Wallace; Her sons Evan Hodges (Amanda), and Craig Hodges (Lindsey); Her siblings Robin (Mike) Whaley, Autumn (Frank) Martin, and Kimberly (Kraig) Erikson; Her grandchildren Damon, Gabe, Owen, Jack, Jesse, Skadi, Cloe, Zaaxe and Elle; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and her significant other, Tim. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Wallace, and her brother Rolland Wallace.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Monday, March 7th, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
