Ken E. Slick, 55, of Indianapolis, died June 9, 2014. The son of Kenneth E. Slick, Sr. and Dianne Flanary Borski, Ken was born August 6, 1958 in Indianapolis.

He was an accountant supervisor in the Department of Environmental Management for the State of Indiana. Ken loved to travel, especially on trips where he could enjoy his walks on the beach. He loved to go to the casino and was the all around handy-man - "the go to guy".

Ken is survived by his son, Ryan E. (Jessica) Slick of Indianapolis; daughter, Sarah J. Slick (Sebastian Ballinger) of Indianapolis; mother, Dianne Borski of Whiteland; brother, Kevin (Martina) Slick of Indianapolis; sisters, Kimberly (Bruce) Moore of Mooresville, Kellie Campbell of Indianapolis, Karrie (Harry) Singh of Indianapolis, Kaylan (Eddy) VanVleet of Franklin; granddaughter, Alyssa Wagner of Indianapolis and special friends, Randy and Nancy Farrand of Indianapolis. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, Sr. and stepfather, Daniel Borski.

Rev. Marie Lang will conduct funeral services 12:00 noon Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
