Kendall Gene Roy Sr. 70, passed away at his home on October 14, 2010. He was born in Webb''s Crossroad, KY to the late A.B. and Edna (Hammonds) Roy. He was a 38 year truck driver as well as a member of the teamsters 135. He was also a member of Speedway Moose Lodge 500. In his 43 year tenure, he served as a governor, past governor, legionnaire, and a fellow. He was a member of the Poplar Grove United Methodist Church in Wilbur, IN. Kendall enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Joyce Roy; one daughter, Sheila (Ron) Evison; two sons, Buddy (Cindy) and Cary Roy; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, six sisters; three brothers; and a very special aunt and uncle. Kendall will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 2pm until 8pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A service will follow on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 3pm. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
