Kenneth Wayne Franklin, 75, of Indianapolis and Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away April 21, 2013. Kenneth was born in Indianapolis on February 18, 1938.

With his wife, he owned and operated ABC Day Schools and ABC Preschools for 38 years, retiring in 2003. Kenneth was a member of Heartland Church of Christ in Greenwood and was an avid golfer.

Kenneth is survived by his wife; Donna J. Merten Franklin of Indianapolis, whom he married on November 22, 1962 in Manhattan Church of Christ in New York City, New York; daughters, Renee'' D. (Steve) Brooke of Jacksonville, Florida, Sabrina L. (Xan) Gunn of Noblesville and Katrina M. (Thomas) McCann of Greenwood; grandchildren, Zach, Noah and Grace Brooke, Rylee and Reid Gunn and Mitchell, Mason, Maddox and Maverick McCann.

Funeral services 10:00 a.m. April 27, 2013 in Heartland Church of Christ - 1693 West Main Street , Greenwood, where friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. April 26, 2013. Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood assisting with arrangements.
