Kenneth B. Taylor, 75, of Trafalgar, passed away June 12, 2013. The son of Lloyd G. and Sophia V. Hawk Taylor, Kenneth was born February 1, 1938 in Marion County, Indiana.

He owned and operated Taylor Body Shop from 1968 to 1989. Kenneth was an assembler for five years with Standard Die and retired in 2003 as a machinist with Power Dyne. Kenneth loved gardening, playing his banjo and guitar, archery, racing go carts and riding his motorcycle. He also loved boating and water skiing, target shooting and was an avid bowler. He was a life member of the NRA.

Pastor Bob Newlin will conduct funeral services at 11:00 a.m. June 15, 2013 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. June 14, 2013 at the funeral home.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn S. Forward Taylor; son, Gregory D. (Susan) Taylor; daughter, Laura A. (Shawn) Cantlon; brothers, Ronald, Jerry, Richard, Kevin and Chuck Taylor; sister, Joanne Pierce; grandchildren, Jamie (Jay) Hansen, Jacqueline Sullender and Colton Taylor; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Dale and Mikayla Hansen. Besides his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by brothers, Douglas, Lewis and Mike Taylor and sister, Darlene Chaney.
